New Delhi: On World Poetry Day (celebrated on March 21), actress Saiyami Kher took a moment to pay homage to the legendary poet and writer, Gulzar Saab, whose profound verses have deeply influenced her life.
Saiyami expressed, "Gulzar Saab's poetry transcends time and language barriers, touching the soul with its profound beauty and depth. His words have not only resonated with millions around the world but have also inspired me personally in countless ways,” as quoted by IANS.
She continued, emphasising the impact of Gulzar's poetry on her life's journey, "The essence of his poetry, the intricacy of his storytelling, and the sheer emotion woven into every verse have touched my life and made me a better person.”
Throughout her career, Saiyami has consistently expressed her reverence for Gulzar's literary prowess. She said that Gulzar's unparalleled ability to evoke raw emotions and capture life's complexities in his verses is truly remarkable.
