New Delhi: Thalapathy Vijay seems to have violated traffic rules and pictures of the same are going viral on social media. After a meeting of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam( VMI) at his Panaiyur guest house, the 'Leo' actor headed home in his luxury car. However, to escape his fans who followed him from Panaiyur to his home in Neelankarai, Vijay and his driver violated traffic rules and jumped red light twice. As per reports, Vijay is now being fined Rs. 500 for the same.

Thalapathy Vijay has been making headlines for making a move in politics as a career option. On Monday, after wrapping up the shoot of 'Leo', he also met members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam ( VMI). His pictures from the meeting have been doing the rounds on social media.

 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay will be seen in 'Leo'. The film has been directed by 'Vikram' fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. On July 10, Vijay wrapped up his portion of the film. 'Leo' is slated for a grand release on October 19 worldwide. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Mansson Ali Khan, Anurag Kashyap, Gautham Menon, among others.

Reportedly, Vijay will be seen playing the role of a gangster in his 40s in the film, who lives in Kashmir and runs a chocolate factory. Dhanush, Kamal Haasan and Ram Charan will allegedly be making special appearances in the film.

After 'Leo', Vijay also has his next project with director Venkat Prabhu. As per rumours which have been doing the rounds, the Tamil superstar will quit films post this film and concentrate on politics and make a career in it. However, he is yet to share any official announcement about the same.
