Noida Police Files 1200-Page Chargesheet In Snake Venom Case Against Elvish Yadav And Seven Others

In the snake poison case, Noida Police have filed an extensive chargesheet against Elvish Yadav.

New Delhi: The Noida Police has submitted a comprehensive 1,200-page chargesheet in the Surajpur court against YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, along with seven co-accused in the snake venom case.

The chargesheet, comprising statements from 24 witnesses and extensive evidence including electronic data, corroborates the sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act levied against Yadav. According to the charge sheet, Elvish had contact with snake charmers; the location also revealed a toxic snake and twenty millilitres of Krait species poison.

Notably, the report confirming the presence of snake venom from a Jaipur laboratory has been pivotal in the investigation.

An FIR was filed against Elvish Yadav in November of last year, leading to the arrest of eight individuals, five of whom were snake charmers. Despite being granted bail in the drugs case just five days after his initial arrest, Elvish Yadav continues to face legal scrutiny. The chargesheet further underlines Elvish’s alleged connections in the drug case.

During an earlier interview with AajTak, Elvish's dad admitted that he used to rent out high-end vehicles for his YouTube videos. "He used to rent older cars to showcase his stunts in his YouTube videos and portrayed them as his own new cars,” he said to AajTak.

The claim that Elvish owns real estate in Dubai has also been refuted by his parents.

What is Snake Venom Case?

The Noida Police raided a banquet venue in Sector 51 last year and detained five persons based on a complaint submitted by the People For Animals (PFA) NGO. The PFA accused Elvish of hosting rave parties where they invite foreigners and have snake venom drugs. The raid resulted in the recovery of nine poisonous snakes.
