Sameer Wankhede On Shah Rukh Khan's Viral Dialogue 'Bete Ko Haath Lagane Se Pehle': 'Very Roadside'

Sameer Wankhede has commented on Shah Rukh Khan's now-viral 'Jawan' dialogue.

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue “Bete ko hath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar (Speak to the father before putting your hand on the son)” went viral when the ‘Jawan’ trailer came out. The audience assumed it was a subtle nod to the Aryan Khan case. The investigating officer in Aryan's case, Sameer Wankhede, has now responded to the dialogue. SRK’s dialogue was described by Sameer as "rather roadside" in his interview with MensXP. Aryan is acquitted of all charges after facing accusations of carrying drugs.

People thought that SRK was trying to subtly reply to all the stories and suspicions surrounding his son Aryan Khan's issue when the ‘Jawan’ exchange became viral.

Sameer said when asked to comment on the Shah Rukh Khan's famous ‘Jawan’ dialogue. He said, "This dialogue sounds very roadside to me. I neither watch movies nor listen to any dialogues. I don’t know anything about this movie. But if someone has targeted this towards me, then I would like to respond to it in English.”

Sameer then included a phrase, “I have burnt many houses and bridges and I have danced on those burnt houses and bridges so I fear no hell, so please don’t scare me.”

While Sameer refrained from making any statements on the ongoing lawsuit due to its subjudice status, he did say that he and Shah Rukh Khan had always been friendly prior to the case.

Earlier this year, Sameer Wankhede was alleged to have extorted money from Shah Rukh Khan to get his son released from jail. Sameer shared messages that he said were from Shah Rukh, although he denied ever receiving any payment from the actor.

Following the drug arrest on the Cordelia cruise drugs bust in 2021, Aryan spent one month behind bars. Aryan's friend Arbaaz Merchant was also named in the drug case.
