Salman Khan Starts ‘Bigg Boss 18’ Shoot With 60 Security Personnel Amid Threat From Lawrence Bishnoi After Baba Siddique's Murder

On October 18, actor Salman Khan showed up at the sets of 'Bigg Boss 18' with strong security personnel.

New Delhi: Three assassins murdered Salman Khan's close friend and NCP leader Baba Siddique on October 12, 2024, prompting a dramatic increase in security measures at the actor's residence. Now, the Salman Khan-hosted ‘Bigg Boss 18’ shooting has begun under tighter security, despite these terrifying threats. 

Salman Khan has courageously returned to the ‘Bigg Boss 18’ sets with beefed-up security. As reported by India Today, the actor showed up at the site on Thursday night with strong security personnel and has since remained in his assigned chalet for his own protection. 

The crew is working closely with Salman Khan's bodyguards to make sure the shoot goes off without a hitch. The actor's safety is reportedly ensured by the presence of more than sixty security men on site.

Today (October 18), the 58-year-old actor has a filming schedule for an episode of Weekend Ka Vaar. The episode will be broadcast on Saturday and Sunday.

Salman Khan WhatsApp Threat

On October 18, the Mumbai Traffic Police were reportedly threatened with a Rs 5 crore ransom demand by Salman Khan in a WhatsApp message, as reported by ANI. According to the message, the actor was warned if he did not cooperate, he may suffer even greater repercussions than Baba Siddique. 

The tweet read, "A threatening message has been received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Rs 5 crore has been demanded from actor Salman Khan. The sender claimed, "Don't take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique's. Investigation has been started in this matter: Mumbai Police."

Now that the threats from the group led by Lawrence Bishnoi have escalated, Salman Khan's Y-plus protection has been further beefed up.
