Rajpal Yadav recently showed visible frustration toward a journalist who questioned him about his recent apology concerning Diwali celebrations. When asked about his clarification, in which he apologized for advising fans against bursting firecrackers on Diwali, Rajpal reportedly snatched the journalist’s camera.

Rajpal Yadav's viral video

In a video shared by a journalist from a prominent Hindi publication, Rajpal is seen in Uttar Pradesh answering questions while being filmed. Initially, he responds to a query about his upcoming film projects, stating that audiences can expect to see him in theaters every 1.5 months. However, when the journalist shifts to asking about his Diwali statement, Rajpal appears irritated and grabs the journalist’s phone. The video, which has since gone viral, reportedly shows Rajpal attempting to throw the phone, though the footage continued to record.

This incident follows Rajpal’s recent Diwali message. Earlier this week, he urged fans to avoid firecrackers due to their impact on air and noise pollution. Following backlash, he deleted the message and issued a video apology on social media, saying in Hindi, “Hello friends. Best wishes for Diwali! Two days ago, a video was shared on my social media handles, which I got removed at once. I profusely apologise for whoever was offended by the video from around the world. I wish you celebrate Diwali with fanfare, be healthy and busy. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!” In his caption, Rajpal clarified that he did not intend to diminish Diwali celebrations.
