Prateik Babbar Opens Up About Feeling Betrayed In Marriage With Ex-Wife & Time At Rehab: 'I Felt Lost & Suicidal'

New Delhi: Prateik Babbar recently spoke about a challenging time of his life in an interaction with a publication. He also shed light on the time he spent at a rehabilitation centre at the age of 18, his divorce from ex-wife Sanya Sagar, and finding love with Priya Banerjee.
In an interview with Times of India, Prateik also spoke about losing out on opportunities like 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', for which he was selected.
He spoke about being sent to a rehab centre at 18, when he was also intoxicated, making communication difficult. The actor also shared that he flet lost and 'suicidal' at the rehab centre. When he felt his films flopped, he turned to alchohol and drugs once again at the age of 25.
Prateik Babbar also spoke about his failed friendship with Amy Jackson and called his biggest loss films like 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' which were missed opportunities for the actor.
Prateik also spoke about his failed marriage with Sanya. He shared that they were in love, which led to their marriage. However, due to being different peole and with time constraints, they could not figure each other out. The actor admitted their decision was rushed in marriage because of family pressure, saying that he was 32 and wanted kids by 32. Prateik also admitted that he felt betrayed in his marriage.
Prateik also spoke about his ladylove Priya Banerjee and called her his home. The actor also recalled how Priya had broken off her engagement and shared how he slipped into her DMs hesitantly. The couple then made etheir relationship official on Valentines Day this year.
