50-year-old actor and director Parvin Dabas got badly injured in a car accident in Mumbai.
Mumbai: Actor Parvin Dabas got badly injured in a car accident in Mumbai this morning. At the time of the accident, Parvin Dabas was driving the car himself. The 50-year-old actor and director is admitted to a hospital in Bandra, Mumbai where he is being treated by doctors.
The source told ABP News that Parvin Dabas' condition is very critical at the moment.
The source said that Parvin's wife Preeti Jhangiani is currently with him in the hospital.
Preeti Jhangiani On The Accident
His wife Preeti Jhangiani said in a statement, "Me and my family are in shock right now and cannot speak. The medical update so far is that He has a serious concussion and Doctors are doing CT scans and other tests to see if there is any more damage. Right now he cannot move much. He has been working at night as the workload with the league is a lot and had an accident while driving in the early hours of the morning ."
Who is Parvin Dabas?
Parvin played various roles in many Hindi films, but he did not get much success as an actor.
Parvin worked in films like ‘Dillagi’, ‘Monsoon Wedding’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’, ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara’, ‘Yeh Hai Zindagi’, ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye’, ‘Indu Sarkar’ and ‘Ragini MMS 2’. His last film was 'Sharma Ji Ki Beti' on Amazon Prime.
In 2011, he also directed the film 'Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande'.
In the year 2020, Parvin Dabas also launched the Pro-Panja League tournament in India and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju and boxer Vijender Singh were also present at the launch.
Parvin's wife Preeti Jhangiani made her Bollywood debut with Aditya Chopra's film 'Mohabbatein' (2008) and after working in many films, she married Praveen in 2008. The couple have two sons.
