Pakistani Celebs Ring In Diwali; Quote Muhammad Ali Jinnah As They Wish All Those Celebrating

Like the way Indian celebs celebrated Diwali, Pakistani celebs also rang in Diwali in their own way and treated fans with pictures from their festivities. 

Diwali is not just a festival celebrated in India. The festival of lights transcends borders and is celebrated with quite some fun across many countries where the Indian diaspora or the influences from the Hindu culture exist. Like the way Indian celebs celebrated Diwali, Pakistani celebs also rang in Diwali in their own way and treated fans with pictures from their festivities. 

Maheen Siddiqui, Sanam Saeed, Fahad Mirza, Tara Mahmood, Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui, Sonya Hussain, Mohib Mirza, and Sarwat Gilani, among others were seen ringing in Diwali celebrations and fostering 'inclusivity messages' through their soical media posts.

Diwali party attended by Pakistani celebs

Pictures from a Diwali party was hosted by Pakistani fashion designer Deepak Perwani have been doing the rounds on social media . Several Pakistani celebs shared glimpses from the party. Sonya Hussaiyn shared a video from inside the party and also wrote a long post along with it. In the video, we see Sonya feating on sweets and desserts at the party.

The Pakistani celebrities also lit lamps and firecrkacers. Many of them were seen dancing to music and wishing each other 'Happy Diwali' and to their fans. Sonya, who wore a printed res saree and wore a bindi on her forehead captioned her post, "Pakistan is a beautiful mosaic of cultures and beliefs, and we must celebrate our minorities as vital parts of this nation. 🇵🇰 As Muhammad Ali Jinnah said,'You are free, you are free to go to your temples... Sarwat Gilani celebrates Diwali

Meanwhile, Sarwat was seen in a black-white saree with a red blouse and Sanam in a green saree with a pink blouse. All of them put bindis on their foreheads. 

Sarwat Gilani shared a close-up selfie of herself on Instagram sporting a bindi with a caption that said, "#inclusivepakistan Happy Diwali to all the people celebrating," further adding in her post, "Let’s celebrate the white in our flag, celebrate an inclusive Pakistan.
