New Delhi: A fire broke out at Nawroj Hill Society in the Pali Hill region of Bandra West, in Mumbai, the residence of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. According to PTI, no injuries have been reported.
The fire reportedly started in a kitchen on the 14th floor of the building. Jacqueline Fernandez owns a lavish 5 BHK apartment in the society.
"The fire broke out on the 14th floor of Nawroj Hill Society on Nargis Dutt Road around 8 PM," PTI quoted a civic official as saying.
According to PTI, at least four fire engines and other Fire Brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot, and the blaze was put out around 9.35 pm. The fire was confined to household articles and wooden furniture in a room.
Jacqueline Fernandez acquired her opulent residence in the esteemed Pali Hill neighbourhood of Bandra West, Mumbai, in 2023. Last July, a video showcasing the exterior of her new home went viral on social media. The building offers various housing options, including The Suites, The Penthouse, Sky Villa, and Mansion.
Pali Hill stands as a coveted address for numerous celebrities, including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and others among its residents. Notably, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan also reside just a few minutes away, adding to the star-studded neighbourhood. Power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are reportedly planning to join the area, with their luxurious sea-facing quadruplex currently under construction nearby.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez is gearing up for her Hollywood debut, co-starring with action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme in an upcoming film. The actress recently shared a viral photo alongside the action star, confirming the completion of their filming in Italy.
