Deepika Padukone has been discharged from the hospital after the birth of her baby girl. The actress was seen accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh as they exited from the hospital.

The couple left the H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai on Sunday, with videos of their departure circulating online. Although they exited through the back gate to avoid media attention, some footage showed a glimpse of the newborn.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed a baby girl on September 8. The couple announced the news through an Instagram post.

During her hospital stay, Deepika received a visit from close friend Shah Rukh Khan, who met the baby. The couple had announced their pregnancy in February 2024 and shared a stunning maternity shoot on Instagram, silencing speculation and criticism about her pregnancy.

Deepika and Ranveer, who got married in 2018, had timed the birth to coincide with the auspicious day of Ganeshotsav. They will both be seen in the upcoming film 'Singham Again', with Deepika joining Rohit Shetty's cop universe and Ranveer making a cameo appearance as Simmba.
