Salman Khan is under scrutiny due to his ongoing feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Amid this tension, singer Anup Jalota has spoken out, urging Salman to apologise to the Bishnoi community.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is once again under scrutiny due to his ongoing feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, a conflict rooted in the blackbuck poaching incident. Amid this tension, singer Anup Jalota has spoken out, urging Salman to apologise to the Bishnoi community.

Salman is facing a difficult time, with multiple threats to his life. Recently, a shooting incident took place outside his Bandra residence, prompting a boost in his security. This incident is being linked to the feud with Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates, who have reportedly demanded that Salman visit a Bishnoi temple to apologise for the alleged blackbuck killing.

Anup Jalota requests Salman Khan to apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi

In an interview with ABP News, Anup Jalota said, "I just want to say that it is not the time to get into who killed and who didn’t…. One should realise that Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique was allegedly killed because of the same. Now, the focus should be on solving the conflict.”

He further appealed to Salman, saying, “I have a small request for Salman to go to the temple and apologise to ensure his safety and protect his family and close friends. I am sure they will accept his apology. Salman should go and then lead a safe life… It is not the time to complicate the matter. Whether he killed or not, Salman should apologise. No one will get anything by getting stuck into the feud.”

Salman Khan's blackbuck poaching case

The feud between Salman and Lawrence Bishnoi stems from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. During a court appearance in Jodhpur in 2018, Bishnoi, now a notorious gangster, threatened to kill Salman. Since then, the actor has been targeted by several death threats.

The blackbuck poaching incident occurred in 1998 during the filming of 'Hum Saath-Saath Hain' in Rajasthan, angering the Bishnoi community, which holds the blackbuck sacred. Salman was the main accused and was convicted in 2018.

Attack on Salman Khan

Earlier this year, gunshots were fired outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home by two shooters allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang. They were arrested, and Salman’s security was further increased. This follows the murder of Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman, by three assailants in Mumbai. Despite these ongoing challenges, Salman continues to focus on his work.
