Angad Bedi Praises 'Lust Stories 2' Co-Star Neena Gupta, Talks About Sexual Compatibility For A Happy Marriage

New Delhi: Angad Bedi, who recently starred in the anthology film ‘Lust Stories 2’, has expressed his belief that sexual compatibility plays a vital role in a successful marriage. In his segment titled "Made For Each Other," Angad portrays the character of a young husband alongside actress Mrunal Thakur, where they explore the idea of going on a "test drive" to assess their sexual compatibility before marriage. Recently, in an interview, Angad spoke about romancing Neena Gupta, who acts with him in the ‘Made for Each Other’ segment.
“So she has a unique ability to say the most controversial thing in a very soft, sweet way. It's funny also. You don't get offended also. So Dadi, I do not see anybody else playing the character because you see, Neena ji is not being forceful in her opinion. She is asking such questions as have you had sex, like 'Jo karke tum aaye ho wo tumhe chee lagta hai' and more, she is saying it in such a sweet, simple way that it doesn't even feel bad. If some other actor says this line, whose authority is more, then you might feel more. The middle ground is very good. As in performance, she projects it very nicely and it comes across as very endearing. She made this character hers and she is not as old as to play a grandmother but she aged herself to play that part,” Angad told Bollywood Life in an interaction.
Lust Stories 2, the highly anticipated anthology project, has recently been released, featuring four unique segments, one of which is directed by acclaimed filmmaker R Balki. In Balki's segment, veteran actress Neena Gupta masterfully portrays the role of Mrunal Thakur's grandmother, who advises her to embark on a "test drive" before marriage to Angad Bedi.
In his personal life, Angad Bedi is happily married to actress Neha Dhupia. The couple tied the knot on May 10, 2018, and welcomed their daughter Mehr later that year. In 2021, they joyously welcomed their second child, Guriq.
The film’s ‘Made for Each Other’ segment has been directed by R Balki. ‘Lust Stories 2’ is currently streaming on Netflix.
