Alia Bhatt Talks About Her Friendship With Isha Ambani, Says 'Glad We Found A Partnership...'
Alia Bhatt spoke about her relationship with Isha Ambani, who also happens to be the actor's business partner.
New Delhi: Alia Bhatt spoke with Forbes about her relationship with Isha Ambani, who also happens to be the actor's business partner. Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, and their daughter Raha attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar in March, alongside Isha Ambani and her family.
Isha's Reliance Brands Ltd acquired 51% of the shares in Ed-a-Mamma, Alia's children's and maternity clothing brand, in 2023.

Alia gave birth to her first child, Raha Kapoor, in November 2022. On November 19, 2022, Isha Ambani and her businessman husband Anand Piramal also welcomed twins - daughter Aadiya and boy Krishna. Speaking about her relationship with Isha, Alia Bhatt said, "I am so glad that we found a partnership with Reliance. Isha Ambani and I are very good friends. We both happened to give birth around the same time. My daughter and her twins are almost a week apart. So this all also happened at the same time. Suddenly, we were like ‘Both of us are mothers’."
"Now, my whole perspective on Ed-a-Mamma as a brand was so personal. It was just like coming from within, as opposed to looking at it as just a business venture. So, it all happened beautifully, literally at the same time... Being a mother has made me a better everything," she added.

Reliance Brands Ltd, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries' retail arm Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), bought Alia Bhatt's Ed-a-Mamma in September 2023. Alia Bhatt started Ed-a-Mamma in 2020, focusing in providing sustainable clothing options for children at affordable prices. In 2022, the brand's product line expanded to include maternity clothing.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will star alongside Vedang Raina in 'Jigra'. Her upcoming projects include 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, as well as 'Love & War', a collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
