Cannes 2022: Bangladeshi Actor Ananta Jalil Attends Film Festival. Meets Aishwarya, Abhishek Bachchan

New Delhi: Bangladeshi actor and businessman Ananta Jalil arrived at Cannes Film Festival with wife Barsha. The actor, producer, director is in Cannes for the trailer launch of his upcoming films 'Din-The Day' and 'Netri-The Leader'.

Ananta Jalil also shared pictures on his official Facebook page of his arrival at Cannes.

Ananta Jalil and his wife Barsha also met with Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan at Hotel Martinez located at Bd de la Croisette in Cannes, France.

Ananta shared pictures of the same on his Facebook page and captioned it, "Dhallywood and Bollywood stars together. Ananta Jalil, Khadija Parvin Barsha are spending time with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan."

According to New Age, Ananta Jalil said that 'Din-The Day' will hit cinemas in Bangladesh on Eid-ul-Azha and he would meet producers and journalists from different countries at Cannes, in a Facebook video.

Besides Ananta Jalil, other members of the Bangladeshi film industry are also attending the 75th edition of Cannes Film Festival.

Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Arifin Shuvoo, who are part of Shyam Benegal-directed upcoming film 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation', a biopic on the country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, are also part of the Bangladeshi delegation. They will be there for the trailer launch of the film on Thursday.

Nuhash Humayun’s horror short film 'Moshari' will be featured in Fantastic 7, which is being presented by Sitges – International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, together with the partnership of Cannes.
