BTS: Jungkook, Jimin Teary-Eyed As Jin Begins His Military Service, Watch Video

The notion that Jin raised Jungkook since their debut is something that Jin frequently recalls and thus, all the more reason for Jungkook to feel so sad.

New Delhi: A new video of the BTS members saying goodbye to the group's eldest member Jin, who had just gone for his required military service, surfaced online. BTS Army spotted Jungkook's tear-filled eyes while the majority of them tried to hold back their tears. The notion that Jin raised Jungkook since their debut is something that Jin frequently recalls and thus, all the more reason for Jungkook to feel so sad.

In the video, the BTS members play with Jin's buzzcut "I'm worried about Jin Hyung who doesn't enjoy the cold, but his younger brothers will join him soon", RM says to the camera. Another scene in the video shows Jin urging them to enter, but J-Hope objects, asking, "Why would we walk inside?" There will only be one instance like this, claims V. After this, there won't be another."

"That's correct, this will only happen once", J-Hope replies. The band members take pictures together before saying goodbye to him and watching him sprint off to join the military while doing the salute.

The eldest BTS member, Jin, has left for his required military service. Ahead of entering the boot camp in a car on Tuesday, Jin took to Weverse and wrote, "Now it's time for a curtain call." Jin added, "I wanted to try saying this when I enlist (a line from the game character Jhin)."

The group released pictures of them posing with the eldest member on their Twitter page @BTS twt. In the photo, Jin was dressed in a long black jacket, matching grey pants, and a grey T-shirt. He was also sporting white sneakers and a cap.

In the second image, the group members are seen putting their hands on Jin, who just had his head cleanly shaved in preparation for joining the military. Sharing the pictures, the members wrote, "My brother!! Come back safely!! Love you." They also added purple heart emojis.

Netizens are all emotional and have written their heartfelt messages in the comments section. One of them wrote, "Meet this phase of your life with pride!  Be safe and sure we'll be here, waiting" while another one commented, "There aren't enough words in the ENG language to tell you HOW MUCH I appreciated you sharing this moment w/ us yesterday. It was something I needed, without having to ask for it."

The Astronaut, Jin's farewell song to his fans, blazed over the Billboard charts. He also performed the song with Coldplay in Argentina.
