Mumbai: Bollywood film director Boney Kapoor has filed a complaint with the police about cyber fraud, alleging that someone got his bank details and stole around Rs 4 lakh from his account. The Amboli police in Mumbai registered an FIR Wednesday under relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.

On February 9, the fraudsters allegedly transferred Rs 3.82 lakh in five installments from the director’s bank account. According to the primary investigation, the money was transferred to a bank account in Gurgaon.
