Anupam Kher Shares Mahima Chaudhry’s Emotional Journey Of Breast Cancer
Mahima praises Anupam Kher for being a tower of strength as he continues to remind her that she is a hero.
Anupam Kher, a seasoned actor who is working with Mahima Chaudhary on a project, shared an Instagram video on Thursday. Mahima Chaudhary came out about her struggle with breast cancer in the video.
Mahima Chaudhary, who hasn't been on the big screen in a while, said in the video that she was in the United States receiving treatment for breast cancer. During her discussion of the diagnosis and therapy, Mahima breaks down in tears.
Mahima praises Anupam Kher for being a tower of strength as he continues to remind her that she is a hero. In the video, the Pardes actress also discussed losing her hair. She recalled asking Kher whether she could wear a wig on the shoot.
To go along with the video, Kher wrote a lovely caption, which includes the following line: “Story of @mahimachaudhry1 ‘s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from the US to play a very important role in my 525th film #TheSignature. Our conversation turned to her discovering that she has #BreastCancer. What followed is in this candid conversation between us. Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world. She wanted me to be part of her disclosing about it. She calls me an eternal optimist but dearest Mahima! “You are my HERO!” Friends!”
Anupam also urged people to send her well wishes. He wrote, “Send her your love, warmth, wishes, prayers and blessings. She is BACK on sets where she belongs. She is ready to fly. All those producers/directors out there! Here is your opportunity to tap on her brilliance! Jai ho to her!!”
Mahima has made a full recovery and is now back to her old self. We salute Mahima for her courage and we eagerly await her return to the big screen.
