Model-actor Milind Soman and filmmaker Rahul Dholakia have shared some positive motivation for Laal Singh Chaddha
New Delhi: 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is releasing next week; fans and netizens cannot keep calm. While a section of the audience is waiting for the Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan starrer to release, many have been trending 'Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha' for over the last month. The buzz around this trend has been so much that it's been headlining news almost every day. Now, a section of Bollywood celebs have come out in support of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Model-actor Milind Soman and filmmaker Rahul Dholakia have shared some positive motivation for the film.
Milind Soman took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, "Trolls can't stop a good film." Although he did not name 'Laal Singh Chaddha' or Aamir or Kareena, it was understood that Milind was referring to the said film. Soon after he shared this tweet, the comments thread lit up. Many comments negatively criticized Milind's post. "Don't defend those hypocrites," read a reply. Another comment said, "You just shown lighter to petrol."
Filmmaker Rahul Dholakia also tweeted in support of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. "Trolling a film because a cast or crew member's ideology differs from yours is unfair to the other hundreds who have worked hard to make the film. They have also pinned their hopes on the success of the film to help realize their dreams. Spare a thought," his tweet read.
At a 'Laal Singh Chaddha' promotion event, Aamir addressed rumours about not loving India. He said,"I feel sad also because a lot of people who are saying this in their hearts believe I am someone who doesn't like India... In their hearts they believe that... And that's quite untrue," he said, reported news agency PTI, "I really love the country... That's how I am. It is rather unfortunate if some people feel that way."
