Alia Bhatt Confirms Testing Negative For COVID-19

After Akshay Kumar, another Bollywood celebrity Alia Bhatt has also tested negative for COVID-19.

New Delhi: During the second wave of COVID-19, many Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and others tested positive for the virus. This list includes Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as well. The 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' actress tested positive for the virus earlier this month and immediately isolated herself. 

Now, according to the latest update shared by the 'RRR' actress on her social media, Alia Bhatt has tested negative for COVID-19. The 'Brahmastra' actress shared a post on her social media confirming testing negative.

While sharing the news, Alia posted a happy picture and captioned it as, "the only time being negative is a good thing💪💃🏻"

When Bhatt tested positive for COVID-19, she shared the news on her social media and wrote, "Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."

Alia also shared some stunning sunkissed pictures of herself while being in quarantine.

Many other Bollywood celebrities including Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Bhumi Pednekar and others have also tested positive for the virus. The B'Town celebs have isolated themselves and are under home quarantine.

Speaking on the professional front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen starring opposite her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's next 'Brahmasta' which will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. She will also be seen starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and S.S. Rajamouli's 'RRR'. She will step into the shoes of production with 'Darlings'.
