'We Will Hang Them Upside Down': CM Yogi Says 'No One Dares To Be Mafia In Up' At Shravasti Rally
Speaking at a rally for the Shravasti Lok Sabha and Gainsari assembly by-election seats, Adityanath emphasised his government's thought stance on criminal activities.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi said on Wednesday that no one dares to become a mafia in the state, knowing the severe consequences that would follow. Speaking at a rally for the Shravasti Lok Sabha and Gainsari assembly by-election seats, Adityanath emphasised his government's thought stance on criminal activities.
Addressing the crowd, Adityanath said, "We will hang the mafia upside down and treat them in a manner that their seven generations remember it". He urged the public to support BJP candidates Saket Mishra for the Shravasti Lok Sabha seat and Shailesh Kumar Singh Shailu for the Gainsari assembly seat.
Aditynath stated that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kamrup to Kutch, the nation echoes the slogans of "Fir ek baar Modi sarkar" and "Abki baar 400 paar".
Taking a jab at the Samajwadi Party (SP), Adityanath said, "Whenever the slogan '400 paar' is mentioned, the SP begins to feel unsettled, as they can't even imagine contesting that many seats".
Adityanath further noted that modern infrastructure is being developed nationwide, benefitting the underprivileged. He criticised the previous SP rule for allowing various mafias to thrive, including those involved in ration, land, animals, mining and professional crimes.
He recounted his immediate actions upon taking office in 2017, instructing officials to reclaim land illegally occupied by "SP-backed mafias" within 48 hours, even using bulldozers if necessary. "Today, no mafia can threaten the underprivileged, and if anyone tries, the consequences will be remembered for generations," he said.
Adityanath mentioned Pappu Khan, who was killed, as an example of his government's strict measures against mafias. He framed the election as a contest between 'Ram Bhakts' and 'Ram Drohis', criticising the SP and Congress for allegedly wanting to reintroduce the Jizya tax through inheritance tax and undermining reservation rights of SC, ST, and OBC communities to extend them to Muslims.
Slamming the opposition, the Chief Minister said, "Trouble will likely follow whenever two mischievous boys meet." He criticised the leaders of the Indi alliance for cautioning against speaking out against Pakistan because of its nuclear arsenal.
He countered that India possesses a more robust nuclear capability and questioned why a struggling Pakistan would even consider a confrontation with India. He highlighted that India provides free ration to 800 million people, while Pakistan, with a population of only 230 million, is grappling with hunger. He suggested that those who sympathise with Pakistan should go there and beg.
