BJP Will Remove 4% Muslim Quota In Telangana To Allocate It To SC, ST, OBC: Amit Shah
Telangana Election 2023: Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasised the BJP's manifesto promise to end 4% Muslim reservation in the state and allocate it to SC, ST, and OBC communities.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing a public rally in poll-bound Telangana's Jagtial, took shots at rival parties while emphasising the BJP's manifesto promise to end 4% Muslim reservation in the state. He emphasised the BJP's intention to remove the quota and allocate it to SC, ST, and OBC communities. Shah criticised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's government and Owaisi-led AIMIM, asserting, "We will make Telangana free of dynasty politics."
"KCR does not celebrate Hyderabad Redemption Day fearing Owaisi. But we are not afraid of Owaisi, we will celebrate Hyderabad Redemption Day as a state day... Owaisi does the politics of appeasement. Their (KCR) election symbol is a car, but KCR, KTR, and Kavitha do not have the car steering. It is with Owaisi," he remarked.

"Elect BJP in Telangana, and we will ensure free darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya," the Union Home Minister declared.
Highlighting the BJP's agenda for Telangana, Shah said, "We have decided that we will procure paddy at the rate of Rs. 3100/quintal. The crop insurance premium would be paid by the BJP. We have decided that the medical expenses up to Rs. 10 lakhs would be covered by the BJP. We will also provide government jobs to 2.5 lakh youth in the next 5 years."
BRS, AIMIM, Congress are 2G, 3G, and 4G parties: Amit Shah in Telangana
Earlier in the day, in a swipe at his political opponents, Shah labelled the KCR-led BRS, AIMIM, and Congress as 2G, 3G, and 4G parties.
He explained that 2G refers to two generations, namely KCR and his son K. T. Rama Rao, 3G signifies the party of Asaduddin Owaisi, and 4G represents the Congress with four generations—Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi.
Shah accused KCR of unfulfilled promises, stating, "KCR has promised a polytechnic college in Jangaon, which has not been fulfilled, and his MLAs are busy with land grabbing."
On Saturday, Shah had accused KCR of transforming Telangana into a corruption hub, leading the state into significant economic debt. Telangana is gearing up for Assembly elections on November 30, with vote counting scheduled for December 3.
