KCR Aims Only To Make His Son Telangana CM, Owaisi Has 'Steering' Of His Car: Amit Shah
In Telangana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah charged that CM KCR prioritised the political ascent of his son, K T Rama Rao, over the state's welfare.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing critique of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) during a public rally in Adilabad on Tuesday. Shah alleged that in his decade-long rule, CM KCR prioritised the political ascent of his son, K T Rama Rao, over the welfare of the state's impoverished citizens. Shah accused the TRS government in the state of failing to deliver on key electoral promises, such as providing double-bedroom housing for tribal communities.
"KCR’s aim is only to make his son as CM. But the BJP’s aim is to ensure that every tribal of Adilabad gets education, jobs, and also water for the farmers," Shah declared, as quoted by news agency PTI. CM Rao, widely known as KCR, has faced consistent criticism from opposition parties including the BJP for allegedly focusing on promoting his family's political interests.
Shah emphasised the choice before the people of Telangana, stating, "You have two choices. One is the KCR government, which thinks of his son and daughter, and on the other hand, you have Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who thinks of Dalits, the poor, and adivasis."
He advocated for a "double engine government" in Telangana, signifying the involvement of both the Modi government at the Centre and in the state. Shah expressed confidence that, under PM Modi's leadership, the BJP would emerge victorious in Telangana, likely following the November 30 Assembly polls, PTI reported.
The Union Home Minister went on to level serious allegations against the Telangana government, asserting that the state had witnessed a surge in farmer suicides and crimes against women and children.
Reiterating a previous claim, Shah alleged that AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi held a significant influence over KCR's governance. He likened Owaisi's influence to his having control over the "steering" of KCR's political vehicle, the election symbol of the ruling TRS party.
Shah concluded his address by appealing to the public to overthrow the KCR government and elect a BJP dispensation. He also praised PM Modi for taking the initiative to construct the Ram temple in Ayodhya, contrasting it with the previous Congress government's stance on the issue. According to Shah, the grand temple will be completed by January 2024.

BJP's Steering Has Gone Into The Hands Of Adani: KTR
In a response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao, also known as KTR, challenged Shah to name a single state in India, be it under BJP or Congress rule, where per capita income has surged by more than 300 per cent.
"Show me one BJP-ruled or Congress-ruled state. Telangana is one state which is making unprecedented development," KT Rama Rao asserted firmly speaking to news agency ANI.
He continued, "Show me one BJP-ruled state that has outperformed Telangana. Repeated visits, speeches, and misleading narratives won't sway the people of Telangana. We've seen this before in 2018 when out of their 119 candidates, 108 lost their deposits. Nobody in Telangana takes seriously what Amit Shah or Narendra Modi say. Once again, over 110 of their candidates will lose their deposits."
KTR also pointedly remarked, "The steering of our party lies in our hands and those of KCR. But unfortunately, BJP's steering has gone into the hands of Adani. Amit Shah should take note of this. Maybe he doesn't know, but last year and this year, 17th September was officially celebrated as Hyderabad Liberation Day. He should correct his statement".
Hitting out at the Union Home Minister, Rao asserted, "If people listen to Amit Shah's words, they will consider it a joke. The entire India and Telangana know that in 9.5 years of Modi's government, not a single educational institution was sanctioned in the state."
"People are tired of the 'jumlas' we hear from PM Modi and Amit Shah. People are asking them about the inflation in the country," he emphasised.
