A man greeted BJP MLA Dilip Shekhawat with a garland of shoes in the Nagada-Khacharod constituency of Madhya Pradesh on Monday.

NEW DELHI: A man greeted BJP MLA Dilip Shekhawat with a garland of shoes in the Nagada-Khacharod constituency of Madhya Pradesh on Monday. In a video of the incident, a man can be seen greeting Shekhawat with a garland of shoes leaving the BJP leader shell-shocked. Upon realising the same, the MLA then in anger throws away the garland and gets into a fight with him. The man was beaten up by the MLA's supporters. The incident happened when Shekhawat reached out to people to seek their blessings ahead of the assembly elections. Shekhawat is a sitting MLA from the Nagada-Khachrod Assembly seat. Madhya Pradesh goes to polls on November 28. Watch the video:
