Before Seventh Phase, PM Modi To Visit Sarada Maa’s house
rime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to meet a select few monks from different religious organizations at Sarada Maa’s house in Bagbazar on 28 May. After holding a public meeting in Baruipur, the Prime Minister will go to Bagbazar as per the schedule. The Prime Minister is returning to the state with a two-day programme ahead of the seventh phase of voting.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will not be doing a roadshow in south Kolkata. He is scheduled to visit Sarada Maa’s house in Bagbazar around 5 p.m. on 28 May.
The PM’s schedule indicates that he will stay at Sarada Bhavan for about 40 minutes. According to sources, the Prime Minister is supposed to meet a few monks at the venue in Bagbazar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have only one roadshow in Kolkata.
Siddaramaiah To Leave For Delhi Tuesday To Discuss MLC Poll Candidates
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss with the Congress high command the names of candidates for the biennial election to 11 seats of Legislative Council to be elected by the Members of Legislative Assembly on June 13.
Deputy Chief Minister and State Congress President D K Shivakumar is also likely to join him for the discussions. According to the Chief Minister's travel plan shared with the media, Siddaramaiah is scheduled to leave for New Delhi by a special flight on Tuesday at around 11 am. Upon reaching the national capital, which he will by afternoon, he will meet the AICC members.
The CM will take a halt in Delhi and his return journey has been kept open. As per the existing strength of parties in the Assembly, the Congress can win seven, BJP three, and JD(S) one seat

"Today, the youth of Punjab is disappointed and frustrated because drug addiction has become the biggest challenge for the state. This is the reason why law and order are deteriorating in the state. People are leaving villages, farmers are selling their land and sending their kids to foreign. Demonetisation and wrong GST have affected the MSMEs of Punjab. If we come to power, we will simplify this (GST) and make all possible efforts to ensure that MSMEs flourish," said Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at the press conference in Chandigarh, PTI reported.
