Delhi CM Kejriwal's Big Claim At Mega I.N.D.I.A Rally In Mumbai: 'Pawar, Kharge, Uddhav, Rahul Will Be Jailed If...’
Arvind Kejriwal, at a Maharashtra rally, allied with the I.N.D.I.A. bloc alongside leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Uddhav Thackeray. He claimed that several more Opposition leaders like them would be jailed if the BJP comes to power again.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday addressed a rally in Maharashtra's Mumbai in a show of strength for the I.N.D.I.A. bloc ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The mega rally witnessed the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray, besides the AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
Kejriwal didn't mince words and alleged that PM Modi is working on a 'One Nation, One Leader' model, stating, "If the Modi government is formed again, god forbid, but if it does, Uddhav Thackeray, Kharge, Uddhav Thackeray, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka, and Sharad Pawar will be in jail by the next elections".

Expressing concern over the state of affairs in the country, Kejriwal drew parallels with Pakistan and Bangladesh. "Conditions within the country are dangerous. Putin in Russia either kills or jails all opposition leaders. If elections happen in Pakistan, Imran Khan goes to jail, his party gets finished. The same in Bangladesh," he remarked, accusing Modi of adopting similar tactics. "PM Modi wants to do to make India like Pakistan and Bangladesh," he added.
Turning his attention to the BJP's internal dynamics, Kejriwal criticised the party's approach towards senior leaders. "In 2014, Modi ji made a rule that BJP leaders above 75 years will retire. According to this rule, Lal Krishna Advani ji was retired, Murli Manohar Joshi ji was retired," he stated.
Kejriwal hinted at a power struggle within the BJP, suggesting that Union Home Minister Amit Shah would take over the prime ministership after Narendra Modi and claimed a deliberate move to "finish off" all other leaders naming Devendra Fadnavis, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Vasundhara Raje, Raman Singh, and ML Khattar as examples.
Kejriwal also reiterated his claim about Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as he claimed that, "Only one leader remains. Who is next? The whole country knows that Yogi Adityanath is next. If they win the polls, Yogi Adityanath will be removed as Chief Minister within two months."

Delhi CM Kejriwal Asks Voters To Give 42 Out Of 48 Seats In Maharashtra To I.N.D.I.A. Bloc
Delhi CM Kejriwal alleged mistreatment during his incarceration, accusing authorities of denying him medication.
"When I was jailed, these people stopped my inulin for 15 days," said Kejriwal, highlighting the alleged hardships faced during his imprisonment. Emphasising the importance of the upcoming elections, he remarked, "This time, out of 48, give 42 seats to the I.N.D.I.A. bloc."
Attributing his imprisonment to his efforts to improve public services, Kejriwal asserted, "I was sent to jail because I transformed government schools for the poor. Modi ji doesn't want the children of the poor to study." He cited the establishment of 500 schools and the development of quality healthcare facilities in Delhi as achievements that drew ire from political opponents.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge In Mumbai: 'Narendra Modi's Only Guarantee Is Lying'
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a rally in Mumbai, accusing him of failing to deliver on his promises and misusing central agencies to target political opponents.
Kharge highlighted the achievements of the Congress party, stating, "The Congress government introduced the MGNREGA scheme and implemented several progressive laws, including the Food Security Act."
Criticising the current government, he said, "Narendra Modi has only used agencies like the ED, CBI, and Income Tax to put everyone in jail."
Kharge did not hold back on Modi's promises, labelling them as false guarantees. "Narendra Modi's only guarantee is lying. He promised to bring back black money from abroad, deposit ₹15 lakh in every account, create 2 crore jobs every year, and double farmers' income. None of these promises were fulfilled. That's why he is the chief of liars," he asserted.

Addressing Modi's frequent questioning of Congress's contributions over the past 70 years, Kharge responded, "Modi ji, if we had not safeguarded democracy and the Constitution, you would not be the Prime Minister of this country."
Kharge also criticised the government for its handling of employment. "There are 30 lakh vacant posts in the country, but Narendra Modi does not want to fill them. He never talks about unemployment or inflation. He only diverts attention by discussing irrelevant matters."
The Congress President further accused Modi of spreading communal fear. "In a rally, Narendra Modi said that if the INDIA alliance forms the government, they will take half of your land if you have 2 acres and give it to Muslims, share your gold and silver, and if you have two buffaloes, one will be given to Muslims. Modi does this because he does not want to give the poor, Dalits, Adivasis, and backward classes their rights and reservations," Kharge said.

Kharge paid homage to Maharashtra's revered figures, saying, "This land is home to great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, Sant Namdev, and Sant Tukaram. It is also the land of Babasaheb Ambedkar. The fundamental rights we have today are due to Babasaheb's contributions. I salute these great individuals who thought of the entire society and the nation."
Kharge expressed confidence in the electorate's support, saying, "Seeing the enthusiasm and energy of everyone, it is clear that you will ensure our candidate Varsha Gaikwad wins the North Central Mumbai seat with a massive majority."
