2019 LS poll results: State wise break into how the BJP-led NDA tally adds up to 352 seats
The NDA achieved its highest ever seats tally and vote share in the general elections and Narendra Modi became only the second PM to get re-elected with a clear cut mandate since the first general elections which were held way back in 1952.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance secured a landslide win the 2019 general elections. As per the latest election commission data, NDA was leading or had secured wins in over 350 out of the 542 parliamentary seats in which the voting happened across seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The Bharatiya Janata party had won 298 seats and was leading on 5 seats as per the latest election commission data.

Northern India
Jammu and Kashmir
The Bharatiya Janata Party won three seats in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, winning its strongholds in Jammu and Kashmir and Udhampur.
BJP won all 10 seats in Haryana
Bharatiya Janata Party swept the Lok Sabha polls in the state of Haryana winning all ten parliamentary seats.The BJP bettered their tally of 7 seats which they had won in Haryana in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
BJP-SAD alliance performed poorly in Punjab
The Bharatiya Janata Party along with its ally the Shiromani Akali Dal dint fare well in the state of Punjab, winning only 3 out of the 12 seats in the state.
BJP sweeps polls in Himachal and Uttarakhand, winning all seats in the hill states
Bharatiya Janata Party was in all conquering mode in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, clinching all four seats in the state.
BJP clean sweeps Delhi by clinching all 7 seats
The Bharatiya Janata Party replicated its poll performance in Delhi, bagging all seven seats in the national capital region. It was for a second successive time when the BJP had completed a clean sweep in the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi.
BJP maintains its stranglehold in Hindi heartland of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan
The Bharatiya Janata party did exceedingly well in its traditionally strong Hindi heartland belt bagging a plethora of seats in the region. While the BJP completed a near clean sweep in Madhya Pradesh winning 28 out of the 29 seats, the party surprised many a pollsters securing 62 out of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
Modi Wave very much intact in Western India
The Bharatiya Janata party maintained its traditional hegemony in Western India, clean sweeping both states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. While the BJP won 24 out of the 25seats in Rajasthan, the 'Modi Tsunami' swept past the PM's home state of Gujarat with BJP winning all 26 seats.
The Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena combined secured a thumping mandate by the people of Maharashtra, bagging 41 out of the 48 seats. While the BJP had won 23 seats, the Shiv Sena bagged 18 seats in the 2019 general elections.
BJP makes massive inroads in Eastern India
The Bharatiya Janata party and Janata Dal United combined secured a landslide victory in Bihar winning 39 out of the 40 seats. While the BJP won 17 seats, the Janata Dal (United) won 16 seats and the Lok Jan Shakti Party clinched 6 seats.
The Bharatiya Janata Party did commendably well in Jharkhand, winning 11 seats and coming out better than what most of the exit polls had predicted.
The Lok Sabha poll results were unprecedented in West Bengal where the BJP made massive inroads into the TMC territory winning 18 out of the 42 seats in the state. It was BJP's best result in any general election in the state of West Bengal.
South India
The Bharatiya Janata Party could not break much ground in the Southern part of India with the exception in the state of Karnataka where it won 25 out of the 28 seats.
North East Region
The Bharatiya Janata Party its best ever results in the north eastern region. The party had the maximum seats coming out of Assam, where it won 9 seats.
