Background

Osmanabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Gaikwad Ravindra Vishwanath from Shiv Sena (SHS) won the elections by a margin of 234325 votes. The polling / voting in Osmanabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Omraje Nimbalkar and Nationalist Congress Party#s Ranajagjitsinha Patil

Osmanabad 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

The total voter turnout was 64.75% Lok Sabha percent with 65.65% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 63.70% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 4613 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 27 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Osmanabad, 25 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Gaikwad Ravindra Vishwanath of the Shiv Sena as he defeated Patil Padmasinha Bajirao by a margin of 234325 votes.

Here, Indian National Congress leader Arvind Tulshiram Kamble attained 280592 votes and Shiv Sena candidate Kamble Shivaji Vittalrao bagged 233574 votes
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 15919 votes. Here, Shiv Sena leader Kamble Shivaji Vithalrao attained 198521 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Arvind Tulshiram Kamble bagged 182602 votes
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 83055 votes INC candidate Kamble Arvind Tulshiram had got 236627 while BJP got Vimal Nandkishor Mundada (W) votes.
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated PWP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Kamble Arvind Tulshiram attained 252841 votes and PWP's Ghodke Kundlikrao Eknath bagged 102749 votes.

2014 के चुनाव में बीजेपी को इन 126 सीटों में से 104 सीटों पर जीत हासिल हुई थी और यूपीए को 13 सीटों पर जीत मिली थी. जबकि अन्य के खाते में 9 सीटें थीं. इस तरह अगर अभी के सर्वे के मुताबिक देखा जाए तो 84 सीटों के आंकड़े के साथ बीजेपी को 20 सीटों का नुकसान होता दिख रहा है और यूपीए को 40 सीटों के आंकड़े के साथ 27 सीटों का फायदा होता हुआ दिखाई दे रहा है. सर्वे के मुताबिक अन्य को 7 सीटों का नुकसान होता हुआ दिख रहा है.

अब तक 8 राज्यों के सर्वे के मुताबिक कुल 126 सीटों का सर्वे आपके सामने रखा जा चुका है जिसमें 84 सीटों पर NDA को जीत मिलती दिख रही है जबकि यूपीए को 40 सीटों पर जीत मिलने की उम्मीद है. 2 सीटें अन्य के खाते में जाती दिख रही हैं.
