Kalahandi: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Arka Keshari Deo from Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won the elections by a margin of 56347 votes. The polling / voting in Kalahandi constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Basanta Kumar Panda and Biju Janata Dal#s Pushpendra Singh Deo
Kalahandi 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Biju Janata Dal won 20 out of the 21 parliamentary seat with 44.1 percent vote share while the Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win just 1 seats with a 21.5 percent vote share.
