The polling / voting in Guntur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telugu Desam Party#s Galla Jayadev and YSR Congress Party#s Modugula Venugopal Reddy

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telugu Desam Party won 15 out of the 25 parliamentary seat with 29.1 percent vote share while the YSR Congress Party managed to win just 8 seats with a 28.9 percent vote share.

थलसेना के मेजर जनरल सुरेंद्र सिंह महल ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान ने कई झूठ बोले हैं. पहले उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने भारत के 2 एयरक्राफ्ट्स गिराए हैं और 2 पायलट कब्जे में लिए हैं. लेकिन कल देर शाम को अपना बयान बदल दिया. पाकिस्तान ने लड़ाकू विमानों के जरिए हमारे सैन्य ठिकानों पर हमला किया लेकिन हमारा कोई नुकसान नहीं हुआ. पाकिस्तान ने कहा कि उसने किसी एफ-16 का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया लेकिन हमने एक एफ-16 मार गिराया है. भारतीय वायुसेना खुश है कि पाकिस्तान विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन को वापस सौंपने के लिए तैयार हो गया है. हम इसका स्वागत करते हैं. हालांकि अगर पाकिस्तान उकसावे की कोई कार्रवाई करता है तो हम उसका पूरी तरह जवाब देने के लिए तैयार हैं.

पाकिस्तान ने कल के हवाई हमले में लड़ाकू विमान एफ-16 का इस्तेमाल किया जिसके पुख्ता सबूत भारत के पास हैं. दरअसल जिस मिसाइल के टुकड़े भारत को कल मिले हैं वो सिर्फ एफ-16 विमान ही ले जा सकते हैं. इस तरह भारतीय सीमा में मिले इस एम्राम मिसाइल के टुकड़ों से साफ होता है कि पाकिस्तान ने भारत पर हमले के लिए सैन्य ताकत का इस्तेमाल किया.

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में साफ बताया गया कि एयर टू एयर एम्राम मिसाइल का इस्तेमाल पाकिस्तान ने भारतीय वायु सीमा में किया जिसे सिर्फ एफ-16 विमान ले जा सकता है. इस मिसाइल के टुकड़े भी बतौर सबूत दिखाए गए और इससे पाकिस्तान के उस झूठ का पर्दाफाश हो गया है जिसमें उसने कहा था कि उसने एफ-16 विमान का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया है.

भारतीय वायुसेना, नौसेना, थलसेना की संयुक्त प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में एयर वाइस मार्शल आर जी के कपूर ने कहा कि पाकिस्तानी एयरक्राफ्ट्स ने भारतीय वायु हवाई सीमा का उल्लंघन किया लेकिन हमारे सैन्य ठिकानों को कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा. हमारे पास पुख्ता सबूत हैं कि हमने आतंकी कैंपों को नुकसान पहुंचाया है. हमारा एक मिग 21 विमान इसमें क्रैश हुआ लेकिन हमने पाकिस्तान के एफ-16 विमान को मार गिराया है. इसके सबूत भी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में पेश किए गए.
