Farrukhabad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Mukesh Rajput from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 150502 votes. The polling / voting in Farrukhabad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 4 on 29 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Mukesh Rajpoot and Bahujan Samaj Party#s Manoj Agarwal

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Swami Sachchianand Hari Sakshi attained 224636 votes and Samajwadi Party candidate Arvind Pratap Singh bagged 192425 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Samajwadi Party candidate by a margin of 84978 votes BJP candidate Swami Sacchidanand Sakshi had got 229906 while SP got Anwar Mohammed Khan votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JP candidate with a difference of 38150 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Salman Khurseed attained 142842 votes and JP candidate Anwar Mohaammad Khan bagged 104692 votes

वाराणसी में कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी ने अपने रोड शो के आखिरी चरण में काशी के कोतवाल 'काल भैरव' के दर्शन किए. कालभैरव से पहले प्रियंका गांधी ने काशी विश्वनाथ के दर्शन भी किए.

प्रियंका गांधी ने रोड शो के दौरान काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में दर्शन किए. उन्होंने 5 मिनट के अंदर विश्वनाथ मंदिर में दर्शन किए और उसके बाद वो गाड़ी में बैठकर काल भैरव की ओर निकल गईं.

प्रियंका के रोडशो को भव्य बनाने के लिए कांग्रेस की स्थानीय इकाई ने भीड़ बटोरने का व्यापक इंतजाम किया था. पीएम मोदी के रोडशो की ही तरह प्रियंका का रोडशो भी दशाश्वमेध घाट पर संपन्न होगा. वह काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना करेंगी और काल भैरव के भी दर्शन करेंगी.

अंधेरा घिर आने के बावजूद प्रियंका गांधी के रोड शो के लिए लोगों का उत्साह कम नहीं हो रहा है. प्रियंका गांधी का रोड शो तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है. प्रियंका गांधी ने अपने रोड शो के लिए लगभग उन्हीं रास्तों को चुना है जिस पर पहले पीएम मोदी अपना रोड शो कर चुके हैं. कांग्रेस के वाराणसी से उम्मीदवार अजय राय और छत्तीसगढ़ के सीएम भूपेश बघेल के साथ प्रियंका गांधी हाथ हिलाकर लोगों का अभिवादन स्वीकार कर रही हैं. प्रियंका के रोड शो में शामिल लोगों में भारी उत्साह देखा जा रहा है.
