In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 71 out of the 80 parliamentary seat with 42.3 percent vote share while the Samajwadi Party managed to win just 5 seats with a 22.2 percent vote share.

ठाण्यात इमारतीच्या 32व्या मजल्यावरून उडी मारुन 17 वर्षीय युवकाने आत्महत्या केल्याची दुर्दैवी घटना मंगळवारी संध्याकाळी घडली. प्रथमेश महेश परब असं मृत तरुणाचं असून ते कळव्यातील मनिषानगरमध्ये राहत होता. प्रथमेश राबोडीतील सरस्वती शाळेत अकरावी इयत्तेत शिकत होता. हा तरुण त्याच्या मित्राला भेटण्यासाठी संबंधित इमारतीमध्ये आला होता. याप्रकरणी राबोडी पोलिस ठाण्यात आकस्मिक मृत्यूची नोंद करण्यात आली आहे. त्याच्या आत्महत्येचं कारण अद्याप स्पष्ट झालं नसलं तरी पोलिसांनी इमारतीच्या सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेरा आणि त्याच्याकडील मोबाईलद्वारे तपास सुरु केला आहे.

मिलिंद देवरांविरोधात निवडणूक आयोगात तक्रार दक्षिण मुंबईतील काँग्रेसचे लोकसभा उमेदवार मिलिंद देवरा यांच्याविरोधात निवडणूक आयोगात तक्रार दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. मिलिंद देवरा यांनी झवेरी बाजार इथे सभा घेऊन शिवसेनेवर खोटे आरोप केल्याची आणि समाजात तेढ निर्माण करण्याचा प्रयत्न केल्याची तक्रार धर्मेंद्र मिश्रा यांनी केली आहे.
