Background

Bhind: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Bhagirath Prasad from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 159961 votes. The polling / voting in Bhind constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Sandhya Rai and Congress Party#s Dewasish Jararia

Bhind 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Bhind Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 45.62% Lok Sabha percent with 52.71% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 36.69% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 5572 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 9 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Bhind, 7 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Dr. Bhagirath Prasad of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Imarti Devi by a margin of 159961 votes.

  • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 53574 votes BJP candidate Dr. Ramlakhan Singh had got 270766 while INC got Satyadev Katare votes.
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate by a margin of 98908 votes BJP candidate Dr. Ram Lakhan Singh had got 292682 while BSP got Kedar Nath Kachhi votes.
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate with a difference of 15798 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Dr. Ram Lakhan Singh attained 198109 votes and Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Kedar Nath Kushwah (Kachhi) bagged 182311 votes
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 38854 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Yoganand Saraswati attained 142185 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Udayan Sharma bagged 103331 votes
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate with a difference of 21924 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Narsingh Rao Dixit attained 136765 votes and Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Ram Bihari bagged 114841 votes
  • 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 87403 votes INC candidate Krishna Singh had got 194160 while BJP got Vasundhara Raje votes.
  • 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP(S) candidate with a difference of 10036 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Kalicharan Sharma attained 105806 votes and JNP(S) candidate Rama Shankar Singh bagged 95770 votes
  • 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, BLD candidate defated INC candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BLD candidate Raghubir Singh Machhand attained 241267 votes and INC's Raghav Ram bagged 80373 votes.
  • 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate had defeated INC candidate by a margin of 91238 votes BJS candidate Vijaya Raje Scindia had got 213771 while INC got Narsinghrao Dixit votes.
  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, BJS candidate had defeated INC candidate by a margin of 71209 votes BJS candidate Y.S. Kushwah had got 137586 while INC got V. Singh votes.
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and PSP here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his PSP counterpart with a difference of 2787 votes.
  • 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate defeated RRP candidate with a difference of 41044 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Radha Charan attained 124878 votes and RRP candidate Raja Pancham Singh bagged 83834 votes

इस बार बीजेपी ने तमिलनाडु में AIADMK के साथ गठबंधन किया है, लेकिन रुझानों से साफ है कि उनको वहां कोई फायदा मिलता नज़र नहीं आ रहा है. आपको बता दें कि बीजेपी का इस राज्य में अब तक खाता भी नहीं खुल सका है.

39 सीटों वाले राज्य तमिलनाडु में एक सीट पर चुनाव रद्द हो गया था. जिस वजह से 38 सीटों पर ही चुनाव हुए हैं यही वजह है कि 38 के रुझान सामने आए हैं. DMK-कांग्रेस गठबंधन 30 सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. जबकि पिछली बार सबसे ज्यादा सीटें जीतने वाली AIADMK पस्त हो गई है और सिर्फ एक सीट पर आगे है. VCK भी एक सीट पर बढ़त बनाने में कामयाब हुई है. सीपीआईएम और सीपीएम दो दो सीटों पर बढ़त बनाए हुए है.

तमिलनाडु में 39 में से 38 के रुझान सामने आ गए हैं. DMK-कांग्रेस गठबंधन 30 सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. जबकि पिछली बार सबसे ज्यादा सीटें जीतने वाली AIADMK पस्त हो गई है और सिर्फ एक सीट पर आगे है. VCK भी एक सीट पर बढ़त बनाने में कामयाब हुई है. सीपीआईएम और सीपीएम दो दो सीटों पर बढ़त बनाए हुए है.

तमिलनाडु के रुझानों में AIADMK इस बार काफी पीछे रह गई है. AIADMK इस वक्त महज़ दो सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. राज्य में DMK 22 सीटों के साथ रुझानों में सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बनकर उभर रही है. एक सीट पर PMK को बढ़त है. जबकि कांग्रेस आठ सीटों के साथ बढ़त बनाए हुए हैं. बात करें लेफ्ट पार्टियों की तो सीपीआई और सीपीआईएम दो दो सीटों पर आगे है.
