Bangalore Central: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, P.C. Mohan from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 137500 votes. The polling / voting in Bangalore Central constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s P. C. Mohan and Congress Party#s Rizwan arshad

Bangalore Central 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 17 out of the 28 parliamentary seat with 43 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 9 seats with a 40.8 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Bangalore Central Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 55.63% Lok Sabha percent with 56.85% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 54.30% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 8449 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 26 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Bangalore Central, 24 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of P.C. Mohan of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Rizwan Arshad by a margin of 137500 votes.
