UPSC CSE Result 2023 Declared: Aditya Srivastava Tops, Check Topper List Here

This year, Aditya Srivastav has secured All India Rank 1 in UPSC CSE 2023, followed by Animesh Pradhan is second place.

UPSC CSE Result 2023 Released: The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has declared the UPSC CSE Result 2023 today, April 16, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the UPSC CSE examination can check the result on the official website at upsc.gov.in. This year, Aditya Srivastav has secured All India Rank 1, followed by Animesh Pradhan is second place. The UPSC CSE intreviews were conducted till April 19, 2024. Around 2,846 aspirants who cleared the examination were called for the interview.

UPSC CSE 2023 Mains examinations were conducted from September 15 to September 24, 2023, in two different shifts: from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The UPSC CSE Mains result was announced on December 8, 2023. Interviews were conducted between January 2 and April 9, 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission conducted this recruitment drive for 1,143 positions including 180 positions for IAS and 200 for IPS. Notably, the overall pass percentage of females have increased over the past few years. Last year, one third of the aspirants recommended for appointment were females.

What Is UPSC CSE Exam?

The Civil Services Examination is a national competitive examination in India which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. UPSC CSE is a gateway to a career in the Indian Civil Services, which includes various Group A and Group B Services. The entire process of the UPSC CSE examination, from the notification of the preliminary examination to the announcement of the final results, takes place within a year.

Aspirants who get selected are recruited and trained for various services by the Central Government and then allotted different State Cadres as per their preferences and rankings.
