NEET PG 2024 Counselling Schedule Soon, SC To Hear Result Transparency Case On Friday

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Latest Update: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET PG 2024 Counselling schedule soon. The NEET PG 2024 counselling dates will be available on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. The registration process for All India Quota PG admissions began on September 20, 2024. The Supreme Court is set to hear a plea regarding result transparency on Friday. It is anticipated that once the pending case is resolved, the MCC will release the counselling dates.

The MCC NEET PG counselling schedule will include dates for all rounds of counselling, such as registration, seat allotment results, reporting, and other relevant details. Candidates can submit the NEET PG Counselling application/registration form only once.

Any candidate found submitting more than one application/registration form will be disqualified from the counselling process, their candidature will be cancelled, and the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW will take further action as necessary. The counselling will consist of four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, the third round, and the Stray Vacancy Round, all conducted by MCC.

Candidates who are declared qualified or eligible for All India Quota Postgraduate Seats will be able to participate in the online allotment process for these seats, which is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Process:

Here’s a step-by-step guide to the counselling process:

A) Main Counselling Registration: This includes payment of the non-refundable registration fee and the refundable security deposit, which will only be refunded to the account from which the payment was made.

B) Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates will exercise their options and lock their preferred choices.

C) Seat Allotment - Round 1: The allotment process for Round 1 will take place.

D) Round 1 Result Publication: The result will be published on the MCC website. Candidates who are allotted a seat must upload their essential documents on the MCC website.

E) Physical Reporting: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the designated Medical/Dental College with original documents for verification.

F) Free Exit Option: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can choose to exit without penalties and directly participate in Round 2.

G) Willingness to Upgrade: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 but only after physically reporting to the allotted college/institute.

H) Non-Allotment in Round 1: If a candidate is not allotted a seat in Round 1, they can participate in Round 2 without registering again.

I) Upgradation Process: Candidates opting for upgradation from Round 1 to Round 2 must report to the allotted institute with original documents, complete the admission formalities, and express their willingness for upgradation during this process.
