MPPSC Recruitment 2019: Online application process to fill 1132 vacancies for the posts of Medical Officer and Insurance Medical Officer / Assistant Surgeon has begun today i.e. Wednesday, 27th February 2019 on the official website of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) – mppsc.gov.in. These vacancies include 1065 backlog vacancies for the post of Medical Officer and 67 vacancies for the posts of Insurance Medical Officer and Assistant Surgeon. The application process was originally scheduled to begin on 15th February 2019; however, MPPSC deferred it until today. Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their online applications and pay the application fee on or before 15th March 2019. Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be an MBBS or its equivalent from a recognized medical institution. Candidates registered with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council will be preferred. Age Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 45 years as on 1 st January 2020. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official notification given below: Official notification for MPPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2019 Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an Interview. However, if the number of applicants is more than five times the number of notified vacancies, then MPPSC may organize a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Interview. Pay Scale: Candidates who will get selected for the post of Medical Officer will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- per month.
