The online application process for the OPSC (Odisha Public Service Commission) Medical Officers Recruitment is underway. Eligible and interested candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can apply for the recruitment online on the official OPSC website - opsc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the recruitment is September 18, 2023. The application cum registration forms for the recruitment drive are to be submitted in the online mode only. Also, all candidates are exempted from paying any examination fee while applying. 

Notably, the OPSC is conducting the OPSC Medical Officers Recruitment 2023 to shortlist eligible and suitable candidates for various Medical Officers under the Odisha government. The OPSC aims to fill a total of 7, 276 vacancies through this recruitment drive. The posts on offer through the recruitment drive include Medical Officers in Group A (Junior Branch) of the Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre. 

Candidates who have completed their MBBS degree or equivalent from an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Also, to apply for the recruitment, candidates must be aged between 21 to 38 years, on January 1, 2023. 

The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done on the basis of a written test which will be held in Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar. The written test shall consist of 200 MCQs (Multiple-Choice Questions) with no negative marking. The exam paper shall consist of questions from the MBBS syllabus.
