India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Interested candidates can apply online on the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: The India Post has started registrations for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) posts today, July 15, 2024. India Post will fill the post of Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak through this recruitment drive. The last date to apply online is August 5, 2024. Successfully registered candidates will be given two days to make changes or upload the correct documents between August 6 to August 8.

Applicants should note that GDSs hold civil posts outside the state's civil services. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their application forms on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

This year, a total of 44,228 vacancies have been announced across the country, including in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

India Post GDS Eligibility 2024

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must pass 10th with Mathematics and English from any school education board recognised by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India. 
  • The applicant should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard from a recognised board.

Age Limit:

  • 18 to 40 years

Selection Process

  • Selection will be done based on a system-generated merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained or conversion of grades/points to marks in the 10th standard Secondary School Examination from recognised boards, aggregated to a percentage to the accuracy of four decimals.
  • For applicants whose 10th standard mark sheet contains both marks and grades/points, their total marks will be calculated by taking into account the 'marks obtained'.

India Post GDS Salary 2024

  • ABPM/GDS: Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 24,470/-
  • BPM: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 29,380/-

Step 1: Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Step 2: Register yourself and generate a registration number. 

Step 3: Now click on Apply Online and now enter your registration number and select circle.

Step 4: Fill the required details in the application form.

Step 5: Select your preferences.

Step 6: Pay the application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
