The University of Allahabad has started accepting applications for the Allahabad University Professor Recruitment 2023. The central university is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 539 vacancies for the posts of Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for the recruitment drive are advised to submit their applications for the recruitment on the official website - allduniv.ac.in. The last date to apply for the recruitment is January 2, 2024. 

Candidates may note that the application fee for the Allahabad Professor Recruitment 2023 is Rs 2,000 for Unreserved, OBC, and EWS category candidates while SC, ST category candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for the recruitment. On the other hand, the application fee for PwD candidates is Rs 100. 

Notably, the University of Allahabad is conducting the professor recruit drive to recruit professors for various subjects at the university. In the official notification, the varsity has also underlined that the recruitment shall be done strictly in accordance with norms laid out by the UGC (University Grants Commission). Therefore, interested candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying. 

“Candidates must ensure before applying that they are eligible according to the criteria stipulated in the advertisement. If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified. No refund of fees will be made. Concealment of fact/information or submitting false information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage of recruitment. In case of hiding any information the candidature will be cancelled. Even if the selection has been made the appointment will be terminated and departmental proceedings shall be initiated,” reads the official recruitment notice.
