CTET Exam 2019: The Registration for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 will be closing today i.e. Tuesday, 5th March 2019 on its official website – ctet.nic.in. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to organize the CTET 2019 exam on Sunday 7th July 2019 for candidates who will successfully register for the same by 11:59 pm tonight. The registered candidates will be able to pay the application fee of up to 8th March 2019, 03.30 PM, via Debit Card/Credit Card, or e-Challan payable at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank. CBSE will enable the Correction window from 14th to 20th March 2019 for the registered candidates who pay the fee before the deadline. Qualifying Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 will enable successful candidates to apply for teaching jobs in the government-run schools across the country as and when the opportunity arises. The 12th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) i.e. CTET July 2019 will be held in 97 cities across the country, in two shifts viz from 09.30 AM TO 12.00 PM for Paper – I (Primary classes I to V) and from 02.00 PM TO 04.30 PM for Paper – II (Upper Primary classes VI to VIII). Interested candidates can follow the instructions below and submit their online application as soon as possible to avoid last minute rush: How to apply for CTET 2019? Step 1 – Visit the official website – https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/public/home.aspx Step 2 – Click on the tab that reads, ‘Fill Online Application Form for CTET July 2019 Step 3 – Register yourself and Login to your profile Step 4 – Fill the application form, upload requisite documents, pay the application fee Step 5 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference Direct link to apply for CTET 2019 CTET 2019 - Eligibility Criteria: Paper-I: The applicant must be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed with minimum 50% marks and must possess 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent or 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Paper-II: The applicant must be a Graduate and must possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent or Integrated B.Ed or B.Ed programme. Final year candidates of the above-mentioned Education programmes are also eligible to apply for CTET 2019, Paper-I or Paper-II. Candidates must read through the official notification to ascertain their eligibility before applying.
