CBSE Board Exam 2024 for class 10, 12 will begin from tomorrow, February 15, 2024.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released class 10, 12 exam guidelines for schools, students and parents. As per a notice released by the Board, around 39 lakh students are expected to participate in the board exams this year. In Delhi alone, around 5,80,192 students are slated to undertake the CBSE Board Exam 2024 across 877 examination centers. The examination is set to commence at 10.30 am with students advised to arrive at their respective exam centers no later than 10 am.
"In light of ongoing farmer protests, there is a potential for delays. Students are strongly urged to arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled commencement of the exam. It is recommended that students utilise the metro system for transportation rather than relying on public vehicles," CBSE said in a notice.
"Only those students who arrive punctually will be allowed to take the exam. Students are encouraged to plan their travel meticulously, taking into account public situations, transportation options, weather conditions, and the distance to the exam center. Entry into the exam hall will be permitted until 10 am sharp, and no exceptions will be made beyond this deadline. Moreover, parents and guardians have been advised by the board to assist students in reaching the exam center promptly," CBSE added.
