PM Modi Suffers From Sleeping Sickness Because...: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that PM Narendra Modi remained angry throughout the day and this was a sign of sleeping sickness.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi suffers from "sleeping sickness". He was speaking at the Aam Aadmi Party's 'Modi Hatao-Desh Bachao' programme, which was also attended by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Delhi ministers Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, MP Sanjay Singh, Sushil Gupta, and MLA Rakhi Birla were also present at the event. The event was organised on the occasion of Shaheed Diwas.

CM Kejriwal said: "I spoke to a BJP worker. He said that Modiji works for 18 hours a day, sleeping for only three hours. I asked how the work is done with three hours' sleep? He replied that Modiji has divine power." "I said that is not a divine power, it is a sleeping sickness. The PM remains angry throughout the day," Kejriwal said.

Reacting to the arrests over the 'Modi Hatao-Desh Bachao' posters in Delhi, Kejriwal said that even under British rule, no FIR had been registered for putting up posters. "But after so many years of Independence, 138 FIRs have been registered for putting up posters and people have been arrested," Kejriwal said.

The Delhi Police said it had apprehended six people on Wednesday for putting up the posters under a regular "anti-defacement drive". The cops said they had removed around 2,000 posters. The CM appealed to the Prime Minister that the six people are released.

'KARNATAKA HAS A 40% GOVT'

CM Kejriwal said that the Karnataka government is called '40% sarkaar'.

"The contractors' association wrote a letter to PM, seeking his help. They said that they cannot work as there is nothing left after paying 40% commission to officials and ministers. Modiji did not take action against the BJP government. Instead, he had the president of the association picked up and put in jail," he said.

He also raised the matter of Madal Virupakshappa, a BJP MLA from Karnataka's Channagiri in the Davanagere district, from whose house Rs 6 crore was seized during a raid.

Kejriwal said: "Rs 8 Crore found at the BJP MLA's house, but he was not arrested. He got bail the next day. But not a single Rupee was found at Manish Sisodia or Satyendar Jain's homes. Yet, they are in Jail.

MODI HATAO POSTER IN EVERY CORNER: GOPAL RAI

Delhi's Environment Minister Gopal Rai said 'Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao' posters will be put up in every corner of the country. He, too, demanded the release of the six arrested people.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann lashed out at the central government. He said that the Prime Minister Modi had implemented GST and demonetisation at night. "The Prime Minister signs such files at midnight. He should read the file thoroughly before signing it. They are selling the country to their capitalist friends. We seek votes in the name of development and he is busy dividing everyone."
