Fire Breaks Out In Delhi Residential Building, Firefighter Among 3 Wounded
A firefighter and 2 people sustained minor injuries after a fire broke out in a residential building in Delhi.
A fire broke out in a residential building in New Delhi’s Rohini area, early Saturday morning. According to a PTI report, a Delhi Fire Services official said six fire tenders rushed to the spot in the Sector 14 area after receiving a call regarding the incident at 6:02 AM.
A fire official said that three people, including a firefighter, received minor burn injuries. Out of the three individuals, two people received 10 per cent injuries.

“Two people received 10 per cent injuries and a firefighter also got injured during the rescue operation, which continued for three hours," the official said.
The official told PTI that all the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. “We are trying to know the cause of the fire. Further investigation is underway," the official said.

Fire On Plastic Pipes
The incident comes a day after some plastic pipes caught fire in southeast Delhi's Jamia Nagar. Five fire tenders reached the spot, but there were no casualties.
At 1:25 PM the Delhi Fire Services received a call regarding a fire caused by some plastic pipes that caught fire in the Jamia Nagar area.
“Initially, we had sent four fire tenders to the spot to douse the flames. As the area was an open ground where the pipes were kept, some smoke from the burnt plastic pipes can be seen from far away. One more fire tender was sent to the spot for the cooling process,” the official told PTI. The blaze was doused by 2:15 PM. The DFS official had earlier said that the fire broke out in a commercial building.
