Fire At Delhi Coaching Centre: All Rescued, Students Caught On Cam Climbing Out Of Building
A fire broke out in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area after which 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
A fire broke out at a coaching institute in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area on Thursday after which 11 fire tenders were pressed to the spot and rescue operation was undertaken. The incident caught on camera which was shared on social media showed students using wires to climb down the building to safety. All the people were rescued from the building, the Delhi Fire Department said on Thursday as it conculded the fire fighting operation and said no major injuries were reported.
The fire broke out in the electricity metre of the building and the panic was caused due to smoke, Delhi Police Public Relations Officer Suman Nalwa told news agency ANI.

"A few students received injuries as they were escaping from the building where the fire broke out today. No person is trapped in the building. The fire broke out in the electricity meter of the building. Panic caused due to rising smoke," she said.
