The Aam Aadmi Party posted a video on Twitter alleging that the disturbance at the event was caused by BJP supporters.
The Delhi CM can be observed in the video, wearing a cheerful expression as he stated: "I humbly implore the members of both this and opposing faction to lend me their ears for a brief five minutes while I speak. If you are not fond of it, you may postpone your slogan-making at a later time."
"I am aware that my concepts and viewpoints may not be appealing to you. Although you have the ability to post your opinions, it is not appropriate. In this democratic system, every individual possesses the entitlement to express their opinions," he further stated.
Certain members of the audience expressed hostility towards Atishi, Delhi's education minister, and greeted her with boos. After she was given the microphone, she stated: "This is why education is needed." Her response was met with applause and expressions of approval.

While the inauguration ceremony was ongoing, PTI reported that AAP and BJP supporters engaged in a shouting match outside the campus.
The newly constructed campus located in east Delhi of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has become a recent topic of dispute between the city government led by AAP and Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena. Both parties assert that they intend to inaugurate the campus.
Each of the parties involved has alleged that the other is attempting to receive unwarranted recognition for the creation of the new campus.
