Main Accused Arrested In Amazon Manager's Murder Case In Delhi's Bhajanpura
Bilal Gani alias Mallu was apprehended near Signature Bridge at about 2 am in connection with the murder of an Amazon manager in Delhi’s Bhajanpura.
The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested one person in connection with the murder of an Amazon manager in Delhi’s Bhajanpura. Bilal Gani alias Mallu was apprehended near Signature Bridge at about 2 am, said Joy N Tirkey, Deputy Commissioner of Police Northeast, as per news agency ANI. Harpreet Gill, who worked as a senior manager with e-commerce giant Amazon was shot dead on Tuesday while another Govind Singh was injured and admitted to a hospital.
The police opened an investigation into the case to ascertain the cause of the incident and a case of murder was registered, said the Delhi Police.
Gill was shot in the head and was declared brought dead by doctors at the Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, while his friend was under treatment, police said.

The bullet entered from the right side of his head behind the ear and exited from the other side, Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey said, according to a PTI report.
Singh is a resident of Bhajanpura and owns an eatery in the Subhash Vihar area. He too was shot in the head and was admitted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital, the DCP said.

According to the deceased's uncle, Akshay, Gill had no fued with anyone and said he does not know the reason why he was shot dead. “DCP, SHO came at the spot and I requested him to see the footage and track down the accused,” he told news agency ANI.
Gill was unmarried and is survived by his parents and a younger sibling, said the uncle, adding that Singh is a father of two children.
