As per one eyewitness the car was overspeeding and hit several autorickshaws.

New Delhi: In a road accident at Delhi's Dwarka Mod, an uncontrolled car rammed into multiple vehicles resulting in heavy damage, eyewitnesses told ABP News adding that the car was being driven by Delhi Police personnel in an inebriated state with others on passenger seats. As per one eyewitness, the car was overspeeding and hit several autorickshaws.

This is the second case of road rage in Delhi this year after the Kanjhawala case where a 20-year-old girl whose leg got stuck in a car after her scooty getting hit was dragged for about 12 kilometres by the car. The driver of the car was also in a drunk state.

A case has been registered against an Assistant Sub Inspector of Delhi Police who was travelling in his private car at the time of the accident, said the Delhi Police. The ASI was posted in the Outer district hit 6 vehicles including a PCR van and sustained injuries along with 3 other people.

Legal action is being taken against him and his blood sample has been collected for blood alchohol content analysis, they added.
