UP Shocker: Govt Official Rapes Minor Dalit Girl, Goat In Bulandshahr, Arrested
A government official has been arrested and booked for allegedly raping a girl and having unnatural sex with a goat.
UP News: A government official in the agriculture department in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr’s Shikarpur block was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping a 10-year-old Dalit girl and committing bestiality. According to police, the incident took place Monday at the house of the victim girl.
The accused was identified as Gajendra, 57, resident of village Rasulpur had gone to the house of an acquaintance in a village during the day, a police offical told news agency ANI. He has been arrested. The accused allegedly raped the girl inside the house and had unnatural sex with a goat, according to a Times of India report.
Speaking on the incident, DSP Shobit Kumar said, "On 12th August 2024, at around 10 pm, information was received at PS Ahmadgarh that a person namely Gajendra son of Dharampal resident of village Rasulpur had gone to the house of an acquaintance in a village during the day and there he found the acquaintance's daughter alone and molested and raped her, he also misbehaved with a goat. In this regard, a case was immediately registered and the accused has been arrested. Legal action has been taken against the accused..."

Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar said, according to victim's father, Gajendra Singh, posted as Agriculture Development Officer, raped his daughter and assaulted a goat at his house, as reported by news agency PTI.
Accused Arrested And Booked
Based on the complaint, Singh was booked under the SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, POCSO Act, section 65 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, police said, as reported by PTI. The SSP said the entire act was caught on video by a child, who was standing nearby.
District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh said that he and the SSP had met the girl's family and CM Yogi Adityanath also took cognisance of the matter. The girl's family will be given Rs 8.25 lakh in financial assistance, the DM said.
