Mumbai police has arrested a man for allegedly killing his 2-year-old child and throwing the body in a plastic bag.

In a shocking incident, Mumbai police has arrested a man for allegedly killing his 2-year-old child and throwing the body in a plastic bag. According to ANI, the police said the man's girlfriend allegedly agreed to marry him only if he got rid of his wife and son. Police added that the body was in a plastic bag and thrown into a drain in Mahim to destroy the evidence.

Earlier on Wednesday, police said they had found the body of a two-year-old child in a plastic bag in the Mahim area of Mumbai. "From preliminary investigation, the police have identified the child and sent it for a post-mortem. Injury marks were also found on the body of the deceased child," said Mumbai Police, as quoted by ANI.
